My best days with my camera, are the days that I get to photograph a newly born infant. This age can be the most difficult to photograph, but as a mother, the newborn images of my own baby girl give me the most joy. Remembering their tiny features, fuzzy hair, and all that is new about them, brings back those amazing memories of when we first met. These days should be captured and always remembered. WHEN TO SCHEDULE: The best time to contact me is before you have your baby. I will then add you to my schedule when your due date is expected. Once your baby arrives we should schedule the date and time, and then within the first week is the best time to have your session. The first week works best to get peaceful sleepy and very curly poses. After two weeks of age, they are more likely to be disturbed while sleeping, and can also become colicky or baby acne can start to flare. YOUR SESSION: It’s not uncommon for the session with a newborn to last 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time to feed and comfort. All newborn sessions are preferably done at my studio in order to control climate and to have access to all props and set-ups. Book “Baby’s 1st year” collection at the end your pregnancy portrait session. If you pre-book and pay a reservation fee for not less than the 2 following sessions after the 1st one for about 6 months of age and 10months old, at the end of the 1st year, and after the 3rd session, you will be able to choose 100 images for 4x6 prints to include from all 3 sessions, in your keepsake box, that you will get as a gift!
