Portrait Policy

Portrait Session Policy
In order to make your photography experience as easy and enjoyable as possible, we ask you review our Portrait Policies:

To make an appointment: Call or e-mail us to make your appointment. Portrait sessions will be scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday. Allow 2-3 weeks for Saturday appointments, as those fill up quickly. (Keep in mind that we always have time saved for newborns each week.)

To book a portrait session of any kind a non-refundable $35 reservation fee is required (which will be applied towards full session fee). After you fill out and sign a portrait contract sent to you by email, your credit card will be charged a reservation fee.

After booking your photo session we will email you some information on clothing, backgrounds and custom products that we offer, as well as the confirmation information for you upcoming photo session. Together we will discuss what your goals and expectations for the session are.

The payment: Portrait session fee is due at the time of your session. Photo session fee is non refundable, however if needed, it can be applied to a future session.

The session: We book one morning and one afternoon session each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Please make every attempt to arrive on time. Please do not arrive early, you will be asked to return at the time of the appointment. If arriving late, please notify us and keep in mind that arriving late may shorten your portrait session. Each session is individually planned to your needs.

Expect for each session to last about 1 hour, however you will not feel rushed and we will continue until we feel that we have achieved the best possible results.
It is not uncommon for a newborn and baby sessions to last longer, to allow enough time to change,feed and comfort the baby. Marina is a mother and knows how important it is!

2-3 outfits are recommended (but not limited to) for most sessions. Choose 2-3 background options for studio portrait sessions. A number of props is available, although we prefer to keep it to minimum.

What to bring: Please bring along any personal items you would like to include such as baby blankets, stuffed animals, sports attire, musical instruments or anything that is special to you. For baby portrait sessions, child's favorite toy and snack sometimes helps to make them feel more comfortable.

After the session: At the end of your photo session, together we will schedule your print order appointment within 7 days of the portrait session. If you think that you, your family and friends will be interested to order additional prints from your photo session, we will post 100 best images in a private on-line proofing gallery at no extra charge, but only after your package print order is placed. You will have 30 consecutive days after your gallery is posted to view images and place your order. Those 100 best images will be archived for 12 months. All the other images will be deleted. During your print order appointment you will be able to view your images, discuss how they will display in your home, as well as any products that we carry.

Orders: Payment is due when the order is placed. Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted. Tax of 8.1% will be added to all non-package product orders. Print orders are printed on a professional paper to insure quality. Additional print orders will need to be picked up or $10.00 shipping charge will be applied. Canvas prints and gift items may take longer and will need to be picked up.

Satisfaction Guaranteed: If for any reason we feel like the photo session was not successful and you are not 100% satisfied with the result, we will reschedule your photo session at no extra charge!

Specials will run on occasion and can be found advertised on the blog and facebook page. In the interest of fairness to all customers, all rates are not negotiable unless booked through a special promotion. Print and product rates for all customers are those current at the time of their booking, therefore may vary from client to client. Paying your session fee guarantees the print prices listed at the time of your booking.
